GeneMatrix develops natural ingredients-based wheat sprout extract raw materials that reduce body fat, and initiates clinical trials in cooperation with Professor Jae-Heon Kang's team at Inje University Seoul Paik Hospital for clinical efficacy and safety evaluation.

The raw material extracted from wheat sprout was confirmed to have an excellent body fat reduction effect in an obese animal model, and an excellent fat suppression effect was also observed in cell experiments. In addition, as a natural material, it does not have any special side effects and is expected to have high safety.

Meanwhile, on January 21, 2014, at the Indang Hall of Seoul Paik Hospital, the head of Genematrix Research Center Hong Seon-pyo, Seok-joon Kim, Professor Jaeheon Kang of Seoul Paik Hospital, Sang-ok Park of Neo-Nutra, Director Sang-Bum Tak of TKL, and other related officials attended the clinical trial initiation meeting at the Indang Hall of Seoul Paik Hospital. The exam is held for about 6 months starting from February 2014, starting with recruitment of candidates. This clinical trial is conducted by Professor Jaeheon Kang, a world-renowned authority in the field of obesity treatment, as the research director.
